Hils Granger is a London based Singer/Songwriter and together with Si Connolly they make up the recently formed band El Born, They are both musically and vocally a great combination, with Si's rockstar voice and Hils expert mastery of the keyboard.

1982 isn't a bad song, I especially loved the guitar parts and it's a tune that appeals more to fans of the Rock genre.
I Miss Grey is a slower paced song and hence is easy on the ears.
I look forward to hearing more material from this talented duo and hopefully they will release an album in the not too distant future.

Following the success of London based rapper/singer Baby Blue's collaboration on the track Magnetic Eyes with Matrix and Futurebound , I would like to introduce her latest single - Bump.

Bump is a emotionally charged song about cheating and heartbreak, the song has a catchy drum arrangement which works nicely with the moving lyrics. Baby Blue is able to convey the theme of the song not just through her vocals but also through her passionate performance in the music video.

Ella Marie is a singer/songwriter from South London, born Nicola Ella Marie Sipprell to musical parents, her Canadian father, was trained as a Classical concert pianist and her mother was a Greek singer.

I was fortunate enough to see her perform in April 2012 at Laughing Boy and let me tell you Ella Marie has the voice of an angel.

Ella Marie has had the pleasure of performing alongside such greats as ex Bee Gees member Robin Gibb at the Soldiers Homecoming Concert at The London Palladium and also provided  backing vocals for Leona Lewis and for Lily Allen during her debut UK/Europe tour.

Dancing Shoes is a nice upbeat and positive song with some cool instrumental arrangement.

The vocal parts of Arrows of Desire are slightly overshadowed by the instrumental tracks.

Dolls and Trolls is another upbeat song and its instrumental arrangement is slightly similar to Laura by The Scissor Sisters.

The lyrics of One More Chance are more emotional than the other songs in the EP, with the exception of Arrows Of Desire, this is a great EP.

Back on Track is light hearted and easy to listen to and Ellie's vocal talents are a delight on the ear.

Try is more of a upbeat song.

I Know has a similar musical feel to Try and is probably my fave song on the Insights EP.

Why is a cool song with a nice rhythmic beat and some great lyrics.

Learn is a cheery and mood lifting song.

All in all Ellie Lawson can do no wrong with her Insights EP.

Becky Holloway is a Sussex born Singer/Songwriter who is currently based in London.

Her music is a combination of bittersweet Indie, Pop and Folk.

Two Lungs opens with a catchy guitar arrangement and along with Becky's soothing vocals and the accompanying drums this is a lively and upbeat pop tune.

This talented singer/songwriter is currently working on an EP which will be out later in the year, in the meantime you can see her performing at The Islington at 3.55 on Sunday, 28 July 2013.

Sinners features a haunting instrumental melody with some powerful lyrics and the percussion adds a feeling of gravitas.

Talk to me opens with the tinkling of the Ivories and a crescendoing arrangement complimented by Miss Aquilina's powerful and unique vocals.

Ugly Truth, which is my favourite song and it starts with a sweet melody and is a more upbeat sounding tune then the previous tracks on the EP.

Irrelevant is a more somber sounding song and features moving lyrics.

Marie has a sublime and powerful voice and What's It Gonna Be, which is her latest single is a catchy melody chock full of pop.

On the 22nd of June this amazing artist released a 9 track album - The Renditions, which includes 6 covers and 3 live versions of tracks from her EP - Could we buy a house, I want a man and Search.

Perth is a slow tune, top marks for the production values and choice of instruments.

In the air features Marie's trademark smooth vocals and she does a fantastic job of covering a Phil Collins classic, this track alone makes me want to go and see her perform live.

Twice has a snappy intro both vocally and in terms of its instrumental arrangement, Marie's vocals and the accompanying guitar are just bliss.

Loveeee, I think the easiest way to describe this masterpiece is just by using the words Musical Silk, nothing more and nothing less.

Nobody's business featuring Jamal Ross is a smooth tune and Marie and Jamal's vocals go hand in hand in the most amazing way.

Stop this train even with a laidback tempo proves that Marie can do no wrong.

Search makes good use of the Saxophone in its instrumental arrangement.

Could we buy a house is a great upbeat performance and the percussion and piano accompaniment compliments its well.

I want a man is the perfect track to conclude Renditions, Marie really gives it her all in this performance.

Renditions is an EP of amazing calibre and also it's free, so there's really no reason for it to not be part of your musical library.
